Journal Entry Reflection Entry #1 – First Newspapers

     Newspapers have changed a lot since the first newspaper was published. Now a days the news papers have multiple pages along with many colorful pictures and games. The first newspapers were very short and for the most part had no pictures at all on them. The new papers are on nice paper, while the old ones were on rough paper.      The first newspapers were almost nothing like today's newspapers. The first newspapers were not very appealing, and it wasn't really the news that people wanted to know about. The first newspapers really had no freedom, and did not post very interesting information. Most of the first newspapers were shut down, or told what they were allowed to post about. The main focus of early newspapers was to just plainly state facts, while today's have opinion pieces, as well as sports and comic sections.      The early newspapers that we read about came out over 300 years ago, at this time the government would shut down any newspaper that would say
