                               Massive Fire Affects Small Town Celebrity

     On the night of October 10th a fire changed a family's life  forever. This was not just any family, it was the house of hockey prodigy Danielle Richie.

     The town of Black Vegas is extremely angered by the events that have taken place. Nobody from Black Vegas is surprised that Bertha Halls started the fire. Towns people say she would've had no reason to start the fire, except to start trouble.

     We asked towns people about Bertha to see why they expect her as the fire starter. " Bertha has always started trouble, even as a young grade 1 student she was stealing other kids books, and pulling the other girls hair", said Jimmy Way; her first grade teacher.

     We still wanted more information about Bertha, and if she would actually do something like this, so we asked her mother; Ricky Halls. " Bertha has always been a disobedient trouble maker, and is not very respectful", said Ricky.

   Danielle Richie decided to drop all charges against Bertha, he believes it was an accident and they've always been close friends.

     Nobody was hurt in the fire, and Danielle has insurance on the house, so he can have it rebuilt. Besides the fire Danielle and his family is alright.

Journal Entry #8- Facing Fake News

The photograph posted along with the Fukashima Nuclear Disaster article leads to many questions. One thought that I automatically had when I saw the picture was " Where is the proof that this picture was actually taken in Fukashima, near the power plants ground?" There is absolutely no actual proof to show that this picture was taken there. The closest thing to proof is that the article says this picture is taken there. Articles have risen and are questioning whether this photo was taken where it was said to be, and whether it was the radiation that even caused these mutations. Some scientists have said that the radiation levels are barely above normal levels where this photo was believed to be taken, and that it is believed to be safe for living things to stay in that area. Also, others have said that they've seen these mutations in flowers without any radiation needing to be present, so it might not even be caused by the nuclear disaster that took place. Somalia truck bombing toll over 300 as funerals begin Timing- 4/4 I gave it a 4 on timing because this article was posted this morning and is the latest update on the Somalia truck bombing. The bombing happened Saturday, but this article updates about the number of injuries and causalities, so it is important. Significance-4/4 I gave this article a 4 on significance because over 300 people died in this bombing. It is the deadliest single attack in the country's history. It has grabbed the attention of people worldwide. Proximity-2/4 The proximity of Somalia to Canada is not close at all, that is why I gave this article a 2 on Proximity.
